Create A Crunch!

And now here’s something from The Department Of Things I Didn’t Know Existed But Wish I Did Know Existed When It Actually Existed. In 1999, Post Kids put out a little something for us children who begged our mothers to get us that gigantic cereal variety pack from Sam’s Club (SPOILER ALERT: My mom never did!). Create A Crunch was a cereal mixing kit made up of little baggies of different cereals and little baggies of goodies you could add in. So Create A Crunch was a fun and creative way to get hit with even more toof cavities from eating morning time sugar nuggets.

Mr. Breakfast says that Create A Crunch Cereal Mixing Kit came out in 1999 and was only available for a limited time. The four cereals included were Frosted Alpha-Bits, Cocoa Pebbles, Fruity Pebbles, and Honey-Comb and the add-ons were granola, blue rice cereal, marshmallows, and sprinkles. Here’s the description of that cereal buffet in a box:

“Imagine all your favorite cereals together in one box – Create A Crunch! Pretty cool, huh? But it gets even better! Just add some slamming’ sprinkles, mini marshmallows, groovy granola (and) blastin’ blue rice puffs. Mix it all up to CREATE YOUR OWN delicious cereal! And don’t stop there! Add bananas, raisins of strawberries… the possibilities are endless!”

You know, Create A Crunch Cereal could also be used by parents to see if their child was a psychopath or not. I mean, they’d know that if their kid bypassed the Alpha-Bits, Cocoa Pebbles, and Fruity Pebbles, and went straight for that nasty ass Honey-Comb.
