Open Post: Hosted By The Hungry Bunny With A Taste For Snowman Nose

What are bunnies best known for? No, not the hopping. Nope, not for being fast. They like carrots. Carrots are to rabbits as spinach is to Popeye. They fucking love that shit. So when Sheila Bryant, a grandma from Calgary, caught a hungry hopper feasting on the family snowman’s carrot nose, I was unsurprised. In fact, why doesn’t this happen more often? Free fresh veggies in the middle of winter!

In the video, Sheila and her grandchildren witness a white bunny with grey ears chow down on their snowman’s schnoz. Sheila tries to play it off like the bunny is just kissing Frosty, but the kids can smell her bullshit from a mile away. “He’s eating it all!”, one of them correctly observes. Now, at no point does the rabbit try to separate the carrot from the snowman, he just relentlessly gnaws at its face. The extra eerie part is that the bunny and the snowman are pretty much the same height, so it’s almost cute (and at certain points, it does indeed look like a deep French kiss) until you realize that this poor son of a bitch’s rhino is being devoured against his will!

Here’s the video:

And here’s a news report, which shows the grisly before and after pictures of the crime:

In the end, the snowman is left noseless, and the bunny gets a little more fat to live through the winter. And the children? Traumatized for life. Note to Sheila… do not let them anywhere near Donnie Darko, Night of the Lepus, or Monty Python and the Holy Grail:
