Open Post: Hosted By Mariah Carey Proving She’s A “Mean Girls” Superfan

Mariah Carey loves Mean Girls like Mariah Carey loves shading people. And she proved that when Mean Girls creator Tina Fey tested her knowledge for Billboard. Mariah easily got her Ph.D. in Mean Girls and did it while her fan was set to “Soap Opera Intro Breeze.”

During Mimi’s conversation with Tina, she managed to plug her upcoming memoir, The Meaning Of Mariah Carey, as well as trying to get a gig on the alleged Mean Girls sequel we’ve heard about for a million years. Mariah joked that she wished the Plastics danced to her Christmas song as opposed to Jingle Bell Rock, and Tina decided to negotiate the deal right then and there:

Tina: “We’re gonna make another movie of it, so if you want to license us that song for the movie and also be in the movie, just say nothing now and we’ll consider it legally binding. Just laugh and it’ll be legally binding.”

Mariah: “I definitely want to be in it as well! Maybe I can be friends with Amy Poehler as, like, her other friend that wears sweatsuits.”

The quiz was made up of three rounds and had easy questions like, “True or false, Karen has a crush on her cousin” (DUH) and “What did Gretchen’s father invent?” (DOUBLE DUH). But there were some questions that may stump a bitch, but not Mimi who got a perfect 1600 on her Mean Girls SATs. And because it’s Mimi, she also let us know that Mimi makes a teeny tiny cameo appearance in Mean Girls. So, Mimi may not know “her” but she does know a lot of shit about Mean Girls.

Here’s Tina quizzing Mariah:
