Quibi asked themselves, “How can we make everyone’s 2020 even worse? I know! Let’s butcher the shit out of the classic masterpiece Princess Bride!” On Monday, Quibi will begin showing an at-home “remake” of Princess Bride starring real-life couples like Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner, Common and Tiffany Haddish, Sam Rockwell and Leslie Bibb, Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka, Chris Pine and Annabelle Wallis, as well as Jennifer Garner, Jack Black, Diego Luna, Patton Oswalt, Zazie Beetz, Taika Waititi, Hugh Jackman, and every single other actor in the world. The actors shot it themselves at home like a bored 12-year-old. And yes, this will probably set the Guinness World Record for inducing the most cringes, but they all did it for a good cause.
