Scott Perry and his pussy bride!
The anti-gay marriage homophobes are probably screaming, “SEE! We told you that sinful gay marriage would lead to people marrying animals!” Because while many marriages have died in quarantine, some are being born, like the marriage between human man Scott Perry and his cat Olivia Le Chat (seen above turning her head away from the camera because she can’t with this mess). Yes, Scott is making an honest pussy out of his cat, and not just because he has realized that animals are a million times better than humans, so why not marry one? He’s doing it for charity.
Scott tells People that he adopted Olivia from Best Friends Animal Society Los Angeles in 2015 with his then-girlfriend. Olivia was shy at first and mostly hid out of sight, but when Scott and his girlfriend broke up a year later and the girlfriend moved out, Olivia came out and warmed up to Scott. Hmmm, Scott didn’t say why he and his girlfriend broke up, but why do I have a feeling that he ended things after he saw incriminating texts on his girlfriend’s phone showing that she cheated. Texts that may or may not have been planted by that scheming home wrecker, Olivia!
It was pure love after that and now Scott and Olivia are taking their love to the next level and getting married after she said “meow” (which is either “yes” or “sure, but I’m not signing a damn prenup” in cat) to his proposal. The wedding will be broadcast on Scott’s Instagram Live tomorrow and he’s asking guests to donate to Best Friends in L.A., hoping for at least $5,000 in donations. Scott said this about his cat bride:
“My kitty has helped me stay sane during this lockdown. Pets allow us to have a warm, positive interaction with another living creature while we have to maintain distance from others. And I am sure that our furry friends have helped millions of others cope with this situation worldwide,” Perry said.
“The impact of the work that shelters have done is immeasurable. They provide safety to animals and happiness to families throughout the year, especially when we are smack dab in the middle of kitten season,” he added. “I challenge everyone to donate and adopt from local shelters, and commit to their pet on May 23.”
Best Friends appreciates the upcoming donation but does not endorse people marrying their cat. Why? I mean, Olivia won’t ever talk to her husband, will only communicate with him through side-eyes and eye rolls, and she won’t ever ever fuck him. Sounds like a normal marriage to me!
And a pre-congratulations to Mrs. and Mr. Le Chat (yes, he should take her last name)!
