Open Post: Hosted By RuPaul Putting Pete Davidson In Drag On “SNL” Last Night

February 9, 2020 / Posted by:

RuPaul hosted SNL last night and they did a sketch where Mama Ru tries to make Pete Davidson’s monosyllabic “Chad” character into the world’s next superstar drag queen. It was cute?

Here’s the skit:

Also, if you’re into lanky stoner types in tighty whities that Ariana Grande has scrawled all over, here’s your fap moment for Sunday:

That bit included the luminous Ru commenting on how beautiful Pete’s penis is and, frankly, I just didn’t see it and it sounds like Pete wrote that sketch. *shrug*

Ru’s monologue was joyous and a reminder not to take ourselves too seriously, which is crazy difficult in this day and age. Also, referencing how NYC used to be interesting because it used to have hookers and drugs was spot-on.

Oh, and who knew that there was someone out there who could do an actual LAURA DERN impression? This wasn’t Ru but Chloe Fineman should do Laura Dern and Meryl Streep and that Timmy kid with the French name all the time.

In closing, I’m taking some time off to try and write some shit on my own and maybe get something on a Kindle near you in the near future. It’s been a joy and an honor to write vapid shit about celebrities every weekend for the last couple of years for you. I’ll see ya’ll soon. HUGS.
