Night Crumbs
If the Atlanta Journal-Constitution does a movies of the year list, Clint Eastwood’s Richard Jewell (which I always read as Geri Jewell, and then get sad over there not being a Geri Jewell biopic) will probably not be on it. Because in Richard Jewell, it’s insinuated that AJC journalist Kathy Scruggs (played by Olivia Wilde) trades sex for info with an FBI agent (played by Jon Hamm). Kathy Scruggs died in 2001, so she’s not here to defend herself. But AJC is defending her and wants Warner Bros. to put a disclaimer on the movie admitting they faked some shit for dramatic purposes since there is no evidence that Kathy did what the movie claims she did. The hell kind of storyteller and artist is Clint Eastwood? If he insisted on making crap up, he should’ve really brought the drama and edginess by making Kathy’s office chair, played by Clint’s legendary’s empty chair, fuck Jon Hamm for info. And no doubt Clint’s empty chair would’ve given the performance of the year and won an Oscar for it – Celebitchy
