Hot Slut Of The Day!
Kay Burley, the Sky News presenter who interviewed an empty chair after the politician she says she was supposed to talk to didn’t show up!
James Cleverly is the Chairman of Britain’s Conservative Party, and according to Kay Burley, he was supposed to sit opposite her and answer her questions. But, also according to Kay Burley, James Cleverly wasn’t in the mood to get his face skin charred as she fired fire balls at him, so he refused to do the interview, despite being in the damn building. But James Cleverly claims that he was never scheduled to talk to Kay Burley in the first place. Whatever the case may be, Kay took a tip from James Cleverly’s last name and did a riveting interview with an empty chair.
Kay Burley said on her Sky News show this morning that James Cleverly’s ass was supposed to be in the chair, and she talked to him two seconds ago, but he let her know that wasn’t going to happen. So Kay did what I do on any given night: she mimed like there was a man in the chair who wanted to hear what she had to say. But unlike me, Kay’s invisible man didn’t stroke her face, call her the most beautiful thing he’s ever seen, and take her in his arms before carrying her to the sofa to do sweet, magical love to her as her dog looked on like, “If only dogs could 5150 a bitch.”
Kay asked the empty chair all the questions she was planning to ask Jeremy Cleverly. via NPR
First, she said, she wanted to discuss Tuesday’s Daily Telegraph, in which Prime Minister Boris Johnson compared opposition Labour Party leader Jeremy Corbyn to Josef Stalin.
Then Burley wished to discuss comments by House of Commons Leader Jacob Rees-Mogg, a Conservative, in which he said Grenfell Tower fire victims didn’t use “common sense” when they followed the fire brigade’s instruction to stay inside the burning building in 2017.
“You remember, sadly, how many people perished in that,” Burley said to the vacant chair. “Why on earth is he still a member of the Cabinet? I wanted to ask him about that.”

But James Cleverly’s story is that he was never supposed to sit in that chair, and Kay Burley let us know on Twitter that he was spitting lies.
No, but having ‘inadvertently’ left us off your list, Mr Chairman, you did subsequently agree to appear – as detailed in my article in tomorrow’s @thetimes #KayBurley @#breakfast https://t.co/hFfKa7JasH

I, for one, am glad that James Cleverly didn’t end up being interviewed, because then I wouldn’t be able take in the journalistic excellence of Kay Burley interviewing air. Honestly, some interviews would be a lot better if the interviewer talked to an empty chair instead (see: T.I.’s vom-inducing hymn to his daughter’s intact hymen). Kay Burley has a gift at interviewing empty chairs, and I hope that she follows this up by doing a long-awaited interview with Clint Eastwood’s empty chair and asking that trick the tough questions, finally.
