Billie Eilish Learned She Was Conceived Through IVF While On “The Howard Stern Show”

The Blast says that Billie Eilish, the 17-year-old popstar who has taken the world by storm with her actually decent music and her extremely weird, but somehow slightly-relatable personality, is continuing her brand of being a weird quirky famous youth by learning something new and important about herself on the radio. While doing an interview with her brother, Phineas O’Connell on SiriusXM’s The Howard Stern Show, Billie learned that she was conceived via in vitro fertilization. It’s all very on-brand for this alterna-young person.

Howard Stern is a master of getting to the root of important topics like, Baby Spice‘s sexual activities, so of course he’s the one who found out that Billie Eilish was conceived using in vitro. Billie’s parents, Maggie Baird and Patrick O’Connell, dropped in on the interview, because they’re both actors and huge fans of Howard’s. Because he’s Howard Stern and knows how to ask a woman about how she lost her virginity, he wanted to know about the night Billie was conceived, because, why not? Well, I can think of several reasons for why not, but hey!

This is when some revelations were made. Her mom said:

“Well, Billie was conceived with the existence of a fertility clinic.”

Apparently, after having Phineas naturally there was trouble conceiving a second baby, so they hit up a fertility clinic. Howard jokes: “So, Billie was built in a lab,” before her dad describes her conception as:

“I was alone in a dark room.”

Howard spoke to Billie saying, “You look like you’re going to pass out.” That’s what would happen to me if I had to listen to my father tell the world about jerking off into a petri dish and the process of “spinning the specimen.”

I’m sure this will just inspire Billie in her continued musical amazingness. Wait for her next song: “IVF Baby” to come out with a video of her as a sperm beating the other sperm to death in the sample dish, or something.

And here’s Billie and Phineas letting us know they are musical geniuses by making up a song on the spot:
