Diane Keaton Hasn’t Been On A Date In 35 Years!

I’ve always been under the impression that mostly everyone loves Diane Keaton (well, except for those who don’t love her ass for permanently being on Team Creepy Woody) , but I guess I was wrong. Because Diane revealed that she hasn’t been on a date since I was six years old (you do the math), which is strange to me. Who doesn’t want to paint the town red with Annie Hall?? I’ve heard of dry spells, but Diane is living in a damn desert. Well, that’s what I thought initially until she explained the reasoning behind the dating drought.

Diane has been in relationships with Woody, Warren Beatty, and Al Pacino. However, when it comes to her life right now, she claims she gets no dates. Whether or not that means she’s not getting any box-spring boogie action remains to be seen, because you don’t necessarily have to date to get laid (trust me, I know). And in an interview with InStyle (via People), Diane opened up more on her current dating situation.

“Never. All right?” Keaton said, laughing as she explained she hadn’t been asked out. “Let’s just get that straight. That one’s important. I haven’t been on a date in, I would say, 35 years.”

She added, “No dates.”

If you’re feeling sorry for Diane, please don’t. She’s completely unfazed by her single status and continues living her best life as a millionaire actress and mother without the trappings of marriage and relationships.

“[I’m not sad] because I think that I needed more of a maternal aspect,” she said. “I don’t think it would have been a good idea for me to have married, and I’m really glad I didn’t, and I’m sure they’re happy about it, too.”

Diane says that she hasn’t had a date in decades, but tabloids claimed that in 2005 that Keanu Reeves left his girlfriend to be with her. That was less than 35 years ago. So my guess is that Diane hit it and quit it, which explains why Sad Keanu was Sad Keanu for so long.
