Caticorn Cereal!

The theme running through Dlisted this week seems to be glitter foolery. First, I brought you the story about a breeder giving her poodle glitter balls (and that story made my dog, who is already neutered, schedule another neuter surgery just in case he’s got an inch left of balls I can glitter). Second, I paid tribute to Guy Diamond, the troll who can achoo out glitter through his butt. And now, thanks to Dlisted reader Rob, I’m writing about Caticorn cereal, which is what comes out of a cat unicorn’s ass after it eats too much corn. “CatiCORN?!” screamed the legendary Carol Channing from heaven.

It took a minute, but the cat unicorn trend has finally hit the cereal game. Kellogg’s already has unicorn cereal, which are multigrain pastel-colored rings covered with sparkles. Their Caticorn cereal is TOTALLY different, because they are multigrain pink-colored rings covered with edible glitter. Kellogg’s is truly a master at originality and not being lazy.

Caticorn cereal is only available at Sam’s Club right now, but Food & Wine says it’ll hit other stores in March and then will only be available until April. Caticorn is made of corn and wheat flour and apparently tastes like berries. Dingleberries of a caticorn, that is.

So if you really want to get your mouth around a glittery caticorn anus, you don’t have long. But even after Caticorn cereal leaves stores, you can still eat Unicorn cereal and just pretend it’s the glittery anus of a caticorn, you sick freak.
