Tisha Campbell-Martin Announced Split From Husband Of 22 Years

Today will be one of the only times in your life where you can let out a justifiably surprised “DAMN GINA!” because actress Tisha Campbell-Martin of the iconic 90’s TV series Martin has filed for divorce from her husband of 22 years Duane Martin.

Tisha revealed the news to TMZ by releasing a statement;

After 27 years of being together and two amazing children, it pains me to announce that I’ve filed for divorce. It’s an emotional time and I graciously ask for privacy for me, our children and the rest of our family

Ooh Ooh (raises hand). Hey, Tisha, if you wanted privacy then why the hell you contact TMZ? That’s like telling a nymphomaniac where you hide all your good vibrators.

In any case, this news comes at a pretty ironic time since Tisha and her costars Martin Lawrence and Tichina Arnold kind of hinted to TMZ about a potential Martin reboot in the works. If a reboot is, indeed, happening then that would mean she and Martin have put their differences aside after a long, bitter feud that reaches back twenty years. Perhaps they reconciled after co-star Thomas Mikal Ford (aka Tommy) passed away in 2016.

And although it’s sad Tisha and Duane split up, I’m excited for the reboot! I’m assuming in 2018 Sheneneh is a grandmother, Otis is in a wheelchair still kickin’ ass and Jerome opened up a fast food brothel next to Nipsey’s called Romey Rome’s Bitches-N-Waffles. I can’t wait.
