The rebel leader of West Covina who started a farm animal uprising against the humans!

Che Guevara, who? William the Silent, huh? Pancho Villa wishes! On Thursday, a donkey from West Covina, CA (San Gabriel Valley represent!) became of one of history’s most important rebel leaders when the rebellious ass almost led a herd of goats and sheeps to sweet, sweet freedom. KTLA pointed us to a Facebook post from the West Covina Police Department about how a snitch ass human narc’d on the farmland rebels at 12:30 in the morning on Thursday when they were spotted walking the streets. When the cops arrived on the scene, the escaped farm animals did what any good rebellion would do: they refused to be taken in by the man. Those badasses evaded capture, and so the cops had to call in The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department who were able to round ’em up and take them in. The rebels apparently escaped from a nearby property.

West Covina (correct pronunciation: West Co-veeeeeeenuh!) is probably best known as the land of Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, but I’ve always known it best as the birthplace of Tim Robbins and the homeland of Nia Peeples. That was until this happened. And now I will forever know West Covina as the scene of a great 21st century rebellion!

And the humans may have won this round, but it isn’t over. The rebellion has only just begun. You can see it in that rebel donkey’s eyes. Hee-haw hee-haw heeee-haaaaw! (That’s donkey for viva la revolución!)
