Melissa Etheridge’s Mug Shot Wouldn’t Hurt A Fly

Melissa Etheridge was arrested in North Dakota for possession of drugs by U.S. Customs and Border Control after returning from Canada back in August. According to TMZ, a K9 unit of drug sniffing dogs searched her tour bus and found a stockpile of drugs so shocking, so brazenly devious that it prompted this happy mug shot for the ages. Now I’m not saying that Melissa was a happy kind of stoned in her mug shot, but I am saying that Melissa was a happy kind of stoned in her mug shot, and that’s the only way to be.

Presumably tucked into her bag of knitting, cops found marijuana oil, which can be used in a vape pen. Melissa says she uses marijuana for pain management from cancer. We’re dealing with a real monster here, people. Even though she has a prescription for it from her home state of California, it’s still illegal in North Dakota, so she was busted. She pleaded not guilty.

Melissa recently tweeted this after her mug shot started making the rounds.

I’m gonna go ahead and guess that Melissa’s not overly concerned about this situation. She’s openly admitted to smoking with her adult children and you don’t spend a lot of time on Team Brad without having worked on your puff-puff-give game.

According to TMZ, Melissa isn’t the only baby boomer rocker to get busted for vaping the good shit. In a separate incident, Todd Rundgren was also busted at the Canadian border in ND. for possession. In September his tour bus was sniffed by a K9 unit but they missed the drugs. Still, agents did a search and discovered “2 vapes and containers with liquid THC”. I don’t know about you but I sleep much better at night now that these flagrant scoff-laws and low down criminal druggies have tasted the swift justice of the American legal system. I also sleep better because of a really good indica dominant hybrid I got from the dispensary when I was in California a couple of months ago.
