Shaving Fun Ken!

“Um, Michael, you dumb fuck, if today’s Hot Slut of the Day is Shaving Fun Ken, why did you use a picture of Beach Hobo Rapist Ken?” – anybody who looks at that picture above.

The newest line of Ken dolls are supposed to be the edgiest Ken dolls ever, but they really don’t have an ounce of wet shit on Shaving Fun Ken. The Shaving Fun Ken Doll from the 90s looked like an aging alcoholic junkie frat douche who murdered his roommates in a meth haze and escaped to Rosarito Beach in Mexico where he supported himself by selling stolen watches to tourists on the beach and wore a master disguise made up of a brown marker beard and a water-damaged wig.

The first Shaving Fun Ken was put on the shelves by Mattel in the mid-90s. His gimmick was simple, kids would help him get ready for a date with his other beard, Barbie, by “shaving” the “hair” on his face. First of all, if anything needed shaving it’s that polyester porcupine on top of his head. Second of all, Mattel shamelessly lied to the children. There’s no hair on Ken’s face and there was no shaving going on with Shaving Fun Ken. If anything, you used a squeegee to wipe shit off his face.

Mattel brought back a Justin Bieber-ized Shaving Fun Ken doll in 2011, and it looks like it was only available in Australia. They should really bring Shaving Fun Ken back again, but this time, they should not market it toward children. Kids aren’t the demographic for Shaving Fun Ken! They should give him a “hairy” ass and crotch and sell him to growns with a shaving fetish. Hell, I don’t even have a shaving fetish and I’d hit it I’d shave it.
