Mindy Kaling To Executive Produce A Baby
Mindy Kaling is pregnant and oh my god, I am so here for the adorable baby outfits that are sure to come! E! News reports:
An insider explained that the future arrival for the 38-year-old actress was “an unexpected surprise” but that there will not be any changes made to production schedules for her upcoming projects.
Mindy has been busy promoting her upcoming film A Wrinkle in Time, which co-stars Reese Witherspoon (also known as The Notorious LJP), and bee summoner Oprah Winfrey. The big budget Disney film is directed by Ava Duvernay. The sixth and final season of The Mindy Project (on which Mindy is creator, producer, writer and star) will debut this September. Mindy has talked before about having kids. In a 2015 interview, Mindy told Yahoo Style:
I’m going to not actively plan, but if it happens, it would happen. She also admitted that she would love to have children, at the time, “maybe imminently.”
She also said:
I’m not cavalier about who I would have a kid with. But the thing I ask every parent that I really admire, the one comment they all have is that they wish they had kids earlier.
Mindy has not revealed the identity of the father of the baby, so naturally hookers are pulling out their best Jessica Fletcher drag and digging for answers. Many have speculated that long time bestie and ex boyfriend B.J. Novak might be the daddy. Whoever the daddy is and whatever arrangement was made, it seems that Mindy is going ahead, following her heart and doing her own damn thing. Congratulations to her!
