As usual, international treasure and the Internet’s memaw, Betty White, was the bright shining star of SNL’s anniversary special and the queen of the night. The world’s true sweetheart popped up at the end of The Californians sketch, which can be submitted for a Best Mini-Series Emmy nomination, because it was THAT long. Watching that skit was well worth it when Betty White sashayed onto the set and nearly knocked the wig off of the head of Bradley Cooper, who looked like a 99 Cent Store Ken doll circa 1989, when she sucked his face. Betty White probably thought about making B. Coop’s life by slipping him some tongue, but she thought of the poor janitors who would have to clean up the mess after he butt creamed on the floor.
Betty and B. Coop’s Extreme Cougar Wives kiss is at around the 7:58 mark in the video below. Warning: At around the 5:25 mark Taylor Swift shows up looking like a drugged up, seventh rate Joni Mitchell impersonator and sounding like what Drew Barrymore would sound like if she got shot up with Novocaine and kicked in the jaw before doing her Little Edie accent.
The writers were smart for putting Betty White and B. Coop’s kiss after Taylor Swift’s bit, because everybody needed a palate cleanser after that shit.
Betty White has ruined B. Coop for future beards. Betty White showed those beards how a staged kiss with feeling is really, really done.
