Hot Slut Of The Day!
My apologies for the lateness of this Hot Slut of the Day post. I usually like to crown a Hot Slut of the Day before the “day” part in Hot Slut of the Day is over, but it’s the annual making of the boiled egg for some of us today. Because of this, I’ve been GOOPing out all morning (it looks as gross as it sounds). My ass is in charge of making the raspberry mousse and since I’m pretty much the laziest of the lazies at everything, this raspberry mousse is going to look more like a raspberry mess that not even a Stayfree maxi pad could love.
My method of cooking is that if I didn’t get it at the store, OH WELL! I am not going back outside. Forgot the gelatin? Use old orange Jell-O mix instead! Picked up half and half instead of the freshly whipped cream from a baby cow who just had a seizure? Use double the half and half with a scoop of Cremora instead! Don’t have a 9-inch metal baking pan? Think about a 9-inch something else while pulling the battered down, half melted baking sheet out of your drawer. This is how I do it!
On Top Chef, they always say that “tasting” is the key. Well, I did this and it tasted like an edible wet heave, but I have a feeling everything will come together when it sets in the fridge for 2 hours. You know, like on Martha Stewart. It goes in a mess, but it comes out an MMMMMM! (Probably not).
That being said, everybody’s going to love it even though it’s obviously going to look like something Raspberry Torte from Strawberry Shortcake aborted. My saving grace is the bottle of vodka I’m going to put on the table next to it along with a plate covered with PEEP-KABOBS. When else all fails, serve PEEP-KABOBS. Which is why today’s HSOTD is the PEEP House in Seattle! Whoever pranked this dude, knows how to do it!
