The impeccable wall mural of Lili (as played by Phoebe Cates) from the 1980s mini-series LACE II!

I pretty much forgot about this pearlized bead hanging out of the gently used anus of the 1980s, but thankfully Dlisted reader Rich reminded me all about it! The glamour! The decadence! The accents that should be outlawed worldwide! But more importantly, the wall mural of Lili at the beginning. If that perfect painting also featured a white tiger and was put on a plush velvet blanket, my second cousin would hang it over his turquoise pleather sofa. It’s that perfect. I’ll let Rich explain:

I’ve just been watching the epic shite that is Lace II from 1985 and I think the truly exquisite mural painting of Phoebe Cates as ‘Lili’ in the first 2 minutes of the movie should be a Hot Slut of the Day, whaddya say? Along with that hot opening song sung by Deniece Williams (which is my personal theme tune and ringtone) I think this the hottest unheralded shit of the ’80s and it needs to be celebrated for all it’s obvious artistic brilliance!
