DJ Ruth Flowers, the grandmother of Paris nightlife!

Memaws usually knock a ho in the teefs and bitch in their ear for blasting that “techno music” (as my mom calls it) too loud, but DJ Ruth Flowers wants those beats to knock her one good hip out. While most grandmas are sitting at home scratching the dead skin off their heels in front of an analog TV, 69-year-old DJ Ruth is spinning at clubs all over France.

DJ Ruth got the bug when she went to her grandson’s birthday party at a club. After that, a friend got her in touch with a producer in France who taught her everything she knows today. DJ Ruth plans to release her first single this spring.

I’m pretty sure we all want to party with DJ Ruth! Pop the Metamucil and sniff the Ben Gay!
