Senator Diane Savino of Staten Island, NY – Yesterday, The NY State Senate voted down gay marriage with a 38-24. Of course, this gave me the sads, because I was hoping that if it passed, I could put in my video application to be Rojo Caliente and Cynthia Nixon’s flower gay at their wedding. Maybe next time. So anyway, boo to the vote, but yay to this speech Senator Diane Savino gave.

Dlisted reader David (the ho who sent this in) said it best: “She poured out her fucking soul on the senate floor with her speech on why the gays and gayelles should marry in New York State. She wants you and the Silver Fox to be able make it legal without leaving the city! Savino and her army of gaylovers didn’t win today, because of all those old mothballs from upstate who hate all things glittery, but Savino will prevail one day! Never underestimate a broad who talks like Rosie O’Donnell from A League of Their Own!”

I co-sign that. AND Diane name-dropped “The Littlest Groom” in her speech. How can you not side with a senator who knows all about “The Littlest Groom“?!
