Brit Brit asked Daddy Spears if she could use the AMEX to make a $25,000 donation after she was so moved by Idol Gives Back last night. Brit was particularly moved by the children in Africa suffering from Malaria. An inside source said she couldn’t stop crying.

The source told Life & Style, “She did it all on her own. She watched the show and cried for like two hours over the children in Africa with malaria. She didn’t know much about the disease, so she Googled it. She was horrified to realize kids were dying from mosquito bites. So she went online and donated after getting [her dad] Jamie’s permission. She used her Amex.”

Brit watches Idol?! So…..she’s the one behind Kristy Lee Cook getting through each week. Brit could have also been crying, because her weave is beginning to eat her skull. That doesn’t look like it feels good.

Below is Teri Snatcher doing a Carrie Underwear song last night. It wasn’t as spectacularly (is that a word?) bad as I had hoped. It was something you would hear during Tuesday karaoke night at your local sports bar.
