Tyler James Williams Shared A Message About His Sexuality And The Danger Of Trying To “Out” People

Last Thursday, rainbow flags dropped from the heavens and blanketed the entire world in multicolored bliss in celebration of Pride month. We can be certain to see all kinds of signage and messages of love and acceptance (until July 1, that is) and hear various opinions of what Pride means to different people. One such person, Abbott Elementary‘s Tyler James Williams, wanted to inform everyone of two things. The first is that he is not gay. The second is that he thinks it’s wrong for anyone to speculate on someone else’s sexuality because it makes that person feel unsafe.
