Lee Pace Comes Out, Take Two
Lee Pace shuffled out of the glass closet last week with the same amount of enthusiasm you show when you walk into a DMV on a Monday morning (hell, when you walk into a DMV at any hour of the day). Lee admitted that he’s done peen and poon, but it didn’t seem like he wanted to admit that.
Lee talked to Brian Moylan for W Magazine to promote the Broadway revival of Angels in America, which he plays Joe Pitt in. Lee said that he think it’s important for gay actors to play the gay characters in Angels in America, and after he opened that door, Brian waltzed on in by asking him about his sexuality. That question quickly took the mood from whatever it was to full blown awkwardness. Lee let a trick know that he found the question intrusive and didn’t like Brian sniffing up his ass. That pretty much killed the interview and inspired Lee to block Brian on Twitter.
Yesterday, Lee tweeted about that uncomfortable moment. He said that he didn’t see that question coming, and that he’s a member of the “queer community.” In other words, keep your label gun away from Lee Pace.
Lee Pace Awkwardly Came Out
That face is probably the same one Lee Pace made after realizing he just came out while trying not to come out.
Lee Pace has been a resident of the Hollywood glass closet for a while now, and a few years ago, many thirsty hos prayed to the gay gods for a sex tape of him and Richard Armitage to leak. Lee Pace has never said that he loves peen, even though Ian McKellen accidentally said it for him, but he recently shuffled out of the glass closet during an interview with W Magazine. And I don’t think he really wanted to.
