Pharrell Williams Has Denounced “Blurred Lines”

Pharrell Williams has washed his hands of Blurred Lines stating that he wishes he had thought about how it would make someone feel before being a part of it. He’s not wrong, Blurred Lines did always feel like a song pulled directly from a date rapist wet dream. But with a super catchy beat.

Pharrell told GQ in an interview that older white women would react to that song in a big way and so he didn’t think it was “rapey“. And as Chris Rock pointed out in his stand up, some women will dance to ANYTHING with a beat. The amount of women who scream, “As the sweat drip my balls!” is insane.
