Hot Slut Of The Day!
P.B. Crisps!
Sprinkled throughout the internet, you’ll find several “Bring P.B. Crisps!!!” petitions, and there’s even a full P.B. Crisps website devoted to begging Hormel Foods, the company that owns Planters, to bring back Mr. Peanut’s sweet creme-filled crisp. So there are many Crispheads out there who have been praying to the nut gods to please drop P.B. Crisps into their mouth holes once again!
P.B. Crisps were a dessert snack that debuted in 1993. They were peanut-shaped graham crackers that were filled with a sweet creme. P.B. Crisps came in three fillings: peanut butter creme, chocolate creme, and peanut butter creme with strawberry jelly. Planters never released any other flavors because P.B. Crisps were killed off in 1995. Here’s a P.B. Crisps commercial where Mr. Peanut tries to sell you on his nut creme.
As I wrote above, there’s a core group of P.B. Crisp fans who haven’t forgotten about their favorite sweet snack of the Gods and have asked Hormel to bring it back into their lives. They’ll even settle for a limited run of P.B. Crisps! Here’s a piece of a letter from PBCrisps.com that states that they’ll be happy to provide Hormel with proof that there’s a market out there for the triumphant return of P.B. Crisps. Yes, they have paperwork. This is serious!
Some time ago, Planters discontinued the PB Crisps snack lineup. Today, there is a large, cult-like following of folks around the USA who want to buy these again. With a little research, you can see that there is enough interest around the web to merit starting a PB Crisps relaunch. At the very least, in small batches or seasonal batches. Relaunching 90s snacks is trending.
There is discussion about PB Crisps on social media, every day. Many influencers and celebrities have brought attention to the movement. Posts have even gone viral. If you would like a detailed stats breakdown, I can provide it upon request.
Hormel, I was thrilled to hear about your purchase of Planters. Since you’re already in the market of producing peanut butter snacks with Skippy Bites, PB Crisps could be right in your ballpark. As manager of the Bring Back PB Crisps movement, I can provide services (packaging design, accurate taste testing, group marketing, and general consulting) to help assist you in a relaunch.
Mr. Peanut needs to have mercy upon these P.B. Crisp fans and give them what they want already! Although, Mr. Peanut probably won’t since I”m sure he loves people begging for his hard cookie crisp and nut creme. What a SUCIO nut.
