Kelly Ripa Decided To Share Her And Mark Consuelos’ “Ludicrous” FaceTime “Sex Rituals”
Knowing that bony broadcaster Kelly Ripa and her mini muscleman husband, Mark Consuelos, have sex on the regular is not an image I need rattling around in this huge head of mine. So what happens when the two of them can’t be in the same room together? Like most internet-savvy freaks, they turn to technology to keep things extra spicy. However, Kelly admits that when it comes to her and Mark’s sex life, they like it wild and weird, as she revealed during an episode of her new podcast Let’s Talk Off Camera.
Kelly is no stranger to being a part of the TMI club, where stars tell us the details of their personal lives nobody asked for. But whether we wanted to hear it or not, Page Six reports Kelly and Mark enjoy pleasing each other through phone screens just like the rest of us. Kelly stated she and Mark began their own “reach out and touch someone” campaign in 2020 while he was in Canada filming Riverdale. They decided the only way they could keep their lusty love a’flowin’ was by resorting to sexy FaceTime sessions. However, Kelly had become displeased with how her body started looking during the pandemic (like most of us), so she brought out her amateur filmmaker tricks to hide what she thought were the worse parts of her.
“I became so alarmed at my appearance over FaceTime that I started rigging the computer to hang from a ladder,” Ripa recalled.
“I hung the computer over a ladder so that I could look up to Mark and he did not have to see what gravity was actually doing [to me].”
Mark, preparing for his future gig of oversharing when he joins Live! after Ryan Seacrest‘s exit, was her co-host for the premiere episode. And he revealed that the only dealbreaker in their relationship was if Kelly tried to withhold sex from him, barring a major medical condition. Because not even menopause could keep his greedy little hands away from Kelly’s cookie jar. And they both revealed that up until recently, Mark never knew the difference between sex and intimacy, which should be a huge red flag for Kelly to draw up the divorce papers right now.
Later in the episode, Ripa poked fun at her husband, saying he only “recently” learned the difference between sex and intimacy after 26 years of marriage.
“I’m going to blame it on the fact that I traveled so much,” Consuelos replied. “A lot had to happen in the time that I was home.
“I wanted to get intimacy in and the sex in,” he explained. “So they became one and the same.”
Ripa joked, “You wanted to get it in.”
Be forewarned this conversation will probably give way to a segment on Live! called Sex For Breakfast, where they gross viewers out with intimate details from their bedroom. And for this reason alone I’m so glad I don’t get up early enough to watch that mess.
