ABC News Will Review Amy Robach And T.J. Holmes’ Affair To See If It Violated Any Policies

The Good Morning America affair drama (words I thought I’d never type) continues, and now it may be affecting Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes’ jobs. We’ve heard that T.J. allegedly had several affairs with GMA co-workers while married to Marilee Fiebig and before he got together with Amy.  And now, apparently, ABC is looking into if any company policies were violated by their relationship. Wow, in just a week, “That lady from 20/20,” turned into a whole tabloid story, all for some dick… It better have been amazing!

Page Six says Amy was out and about walking her dog in New York City yesterday. She definitely has time for the walks since ABC pulled her and T.J. from the air over the scandal. T.J. and Amy reportedly grew close over their failing marriages, and things heated up when they trained for a marathon. Now, numerous sources say that T.J. had more affairs at work, and Page Six says that Amy has moved out of the home she shared with her husband, Andrew Shue. Always a good time for a head-clearing walk! And during her stroll, Amy said to a Daily Mail pap:

“You guys really need to get a life, I’m sorry. It’s kind of over now. Thanks.”

No reference to what Amy means is “over.”  Maybe she means, “The scandal is over!” or “My time on GMA is over!” Because while ABC News’ President, Kim Godwin, first said that the affair was “not a violation of company policy,” when they were first taken off the air, TMZ says that now ABC is diving deeper. Maybe because they found out just how deep T.J.’s dick has been diving?

Sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ… ABC’s human resources and legal departments are working together to look into all aspects of the high-profile co-workers hooking up. The goal is to determine if Amy and T.J. did anything to breach their contracts–such as using company resources, like vehicles or drivers, to meet romantically… or pressuring staffers to keep the relationship on the DL.

We’re told some people at the network were upset about ABC News’ President Kim Godwin’s comments on Monday morning’s editorial call–when she said the couple did not violate company policies–because the network hadn’t yet taken a closer look.

Our sources say the review started to heat up internally last Friday when news broke of an alleged affair T.J. had with a former GMA producer years ago.

We’re told Godwin worked through the weekend with other executives before deciding to pull Amy and T.J. from the anchor’s desk.

As we reported, Amy and T.J. were taken off the air Monday after Godwin called the situation an “internal and external distraction.”

That part is clearly true, but again, other execs feel she went too far in telling the team there were no company policy violations–we’re told it was just too soon to know.

Our sources say everyone involved welcomes the review… saying it’s the best way to clear the anchors’ names and confirm Godwin’s original judgment.

I wonder how this deep dive is going to go. Are they gonna just hang out in the office break room and listen to the gossip? Maybe they’ll send an anonymous questionnaire to the staff like: “Have you or anyone you know, had sex with T.J. Holmes?” They may get more responses than they’re ready for!
