Tabitha Brown Dragged Wendy Williams With Grace And Kindness For Talking Shit About Her Marriage

Tabitha Brown is an actress who gained a huge following on TikTok (she’s currently got 4.7 million followers on TikTok and 3.6 million followers on Instagram) thanks to her lovable personality and vegan dishes. That has led to numerous endorsement deals and she’s recently landed a role on Showtime’s The Chi. So Tabitha is finally getting some success after years of trying to make it. Because Tabitha is collecting checks left and right, she let her husband of 18 years, Chance Brown, know that he can retire from the LAPD where he was a cop for 15 years. Chance supported Tabitha as she tried to make her dreams come true and she said that it’s her turn to support Chance so that he can make his dreams come true. Sweet, but there’s one certain mess who didn’t find it sweet at all.

Wendy Williams had plenty to say about it; suggesting that now that Tabitha’s paying the bills, her marriage will suffer. Wendy thinks she knows what she’s talking about since she supported Kevin Hunter Sr. and that marriage ended up in the shit can. Although, Wendy didn’t mention how it also ended up in the shit can because Kevin was a major cheater and put a baby in another woman. Tabitha heard Wendy’s thoughts on her marriage and decided to pluck every follicle of hair from Wendy’s favorite wig, but in the kindest, most polite, sweetest-sounding condescension I’ve ever witnessed.

Essence says that during the Hot Topics section of The Wendy Williams Show, Wendy talked about Tabitha’s announcement of retiring Chase. And she went in:

“I was married to one of those. “I make the money!” and so on and so forth. “Go live your dreams! Open a business! Go, go, go!” See how that turned out. I predict that this marriage is going to be on real rocky ground in a moment. “Live your dream”… They may invest in stuff and lose the money. They invest in something else then the money gets swindled or stolen. Then they invest again and he comes home and throws his bag down. She’s like “What? What?” And he’s like, “I can’t do this and this is your fault. You’re over here making your money and stuff and had me quit my job.”

“…No, you work! Being a cop was a big part of his identity, he liked it but she came to him and said that.”

Wendy’s judgment of Tabitha’s marriage starts at the 17:34 mark below:

Tabitha addressed Wendy’s shit-talking on her Instagram page and YouTube channel, saying that she was minding her own business, pretty much, when she started to get calls about Wendy’s comments. Tabitha schooled Wendy on what a successful marriage looks like since Wendy doesn’t know what that looks like:

“Wendy the pain you must be in to feel this way, honey, I’m so sorry. But listen, let me tell you this. Twenty-three years I’ve been with my husband, broke for a very long time together. Struggled for a very long time together. Succeeded for the last couple of years together… I was his dog in the fight and he believed in me and we did it together for the last 15 years. I did every year with him in the LAPD and he did every year with me with rejection and nos in this entertainment industry. However, God has blessed me… I’ve been praying on this for a very long time and it has now come to pass. That is the power of God. It’s also the power of allowing God to be first in your marriage. That’s how it remains successful, we keep Him first. He is first in our marriage. Not money, not business, not success, but God. He’s first.”

Tabitha continued to twist the knife but made sure to put a little sugar on that knife first:

She then prayed that Williams, who has been open about dating again, would receive a different kind of love. She prayed for a love to find Williams that “holds you tight. I pray that someone will love you enough to see you when you are not well, to see when you need true support, to see you when you need compassion, to see you when you need kindness. I pray that somebody loves you enough to sacrifice their life for you. I pray that type of love finds you so that you can understand why I don’t want my husband to put his life on the line anymore, wearing a bulletproof vest if he don’t have to, and if it’s not his desire.”

And Tabitha ended with this (vegan) chef’s kiss:

“I pray that somebody finds you, love finds you that excites you the way I’m excited for my husband to grow his business, pour into children and coach these kids and do other things he’s dreamt about,” she said. “I pray this type of excitement and love finds you and anybody else who seems to not understand this. I pray that type of love finds you.”

Here’s Tabitha’s full evisceration of Wendy and we should’ve known what was coming when Tabitha started with, “God bless you, Wendy.” That’s the Southern woman equivalent of sharpening a shank:

Well, it looks like Wendy Williams’ tombstone will read: Killed With Kindness By Tabitha Brown!
