Both Taylor Schilling And Nikki Blonsky Came Out Over The Weekend

Oh no! July is two days away, which means Pride Month is almost over. Back to our regularly scheduled hetero-hellscape til next June. An especially big bummer since most Pride celebrations were canceled because of COVID-19. But that gross ol’ homophobic virus didn’t stop Taylor Schilling and Nikki Blonsky from coming out on social media!

Taylor, of Orange is the New Black, has always been pretty private about her love life. In the past, she’s refused to comment on rumors she dated Carrie Brownstein, and she once said that she was an “expansive human” who rejects labels. Well, this past weekend she put a label on it. AKA some heart and rainbow emojis. Artist Emily Ritz posted a pic of herself and Taylor on her Instagram story, with the caption, “I couldn’t be more proud to be by your side @taylorschilling. Happy Pride!” Taylor reposted it to her own story (oh shit, it’s serious).

Here’s the post:

The couple has reportedly been dating since last year and met through mutual friends. Their hobbies include standing atop foggy mountains and gazing lovingly into each other’s eyes.

Next up is Hairspray and Huge star (remember Huge? I loved Huge) Nikki Blonsky. The only thing I knew about Nikki’s personal life is the time she and America’s Next Top Model’s Bianca Golden were both arrested after a violent physical altercation in an airport. Aww, 2008 was a simpler time. This past weekend Nikki officially came out on TikTok to Diana Ross’ I’m Coming Out:

In case there was any confusion, she captioned that shit with: “Hi, it’s Nikki Blonsky from the movie I’m Gay! #pride”

Congratulations to both Taylor and Nikki! Too bad they have to go back to boring ol’ straight life once the clock strikes midnight on June 30th. JK JK (not Rowling)!
