Ellen Pompeo Let Loose On TMZ Over Their Kobe Bryant Coverage

Someone get Dr. Grey out of the O.R. because she is going to kill that man! E! News says that Ellen Pompeo let Harvey Levin and TMZ know exactly how she feels about them on Twitter. She is furious about their coverage of the helicopter crash that took the lives of nine people including Kobe Bryant and his 13-year-old daughter, Gianna Bryant. TMZ broke the story before the families were notified. This ticked Meredith off. She snapped on TMZ like they screwed up her surgery.

Ellen started her Twitter tirade by dragging TMZ and Harvey for posting pictures of abuse victims (like Rihanna):

Ellen then took off her scrub cap and put on her Captain Obvious hat before tweeting that she believes TMZ scoops everyone and posts news, like the news of Kobe’s death, so fast because they have several ins with the LAPD. Ellen then called out the police, basically saying they have leaks bigger than the Titanic among their ranks, and even suggests that Harvey has some big name friends like sheriffs who are sliding him info. Corrupt police?! Working with tabloids?! IN LA?! Knock me over with a fucking feather!

Ellen ended with a pitch for a 6-part Netflix docu-series:

I did not know that Meredith was a detective and a brilliant surgeon! Damn! Multi-talented! I mean, this is not shocking or new information. But you can always count on her to stand in front of someone and say all the things they’re doing wrong to their face. For Harvey’s sake, I hope he doesn’t end up on Meredith’s operating table, lest she just let one go for once.
