Open Post: Hosted By Two Guys Fighting Over An Airplane Window Shade

November 23, 2019 / Posted by:

I pose to you this question – who controls an airplane’s window if its straddling two rows? Do you break out a tape measure and the row with the most window on their side wins? Insider brings us this clip from Instagram account Passenger Shaming. Some dude wants a window shade that’s sort of straddling two rows down. The dude in front does not compute. It gets heated.

Here’s the war footage:

According to the caption, the passengers were told to keep their windows shades up for landing. So the guy in back had the right idea but this kind of moronic stubbornness is born during long flights where being treated like battery chickens causes humans to go mad and get all sorts of vindictive.

My other question is, due to that plane being lit as bright as day, why the hell did the guy in front think that the shade being down was going to give him any sort of protection from the all-around glare of that flight?
