Antoni Porowski From “Queer Eye” Only Washes His Hair Every Two Weeks

Admitting that you only wash your hair every two weeks sounds like something you’d hear a clueless divorced 55-year-old admit on Queer Eye, only to have Jonathan Van Ness gasp and exclaim “Please don’t also tell me that bi-monthly wash is done with the same soap you wash your junk with.” But the admission is coming from one of the Fab Five, and it’s Antoni Porowski. Antoni was recently asked about his grooming routine for Into The Gloss. After a quick plug for the gummy vitamins he gets paid to eat and a long list of fancy products he uses for his face, he talked about his hair routine. Or should I say, lack of hair routine.

Unsurprisingly, Antoni says he uses hair cream to style his hair. His other hair secret is hot water, which he uses to rinse his hair every day. As for shampoo, well…if you asked Anotini, “What’s that smell?” he might respond, “Are you talking about this delicious roast cauliflower and olive tapenade, or my skunky scalp?” Because shampoo only gets added to the mix every so often.

“I only wash my hair every 10 days to two weeks with shampoo because it gets poofy.”

He’s also a fan of salt sprays, but he tried to make his own once from actual salt water he stole from the Atlantic Ocean, which went bad and smelled like rotten chicken.

I’m sure there’s a product out there that could help Antoni keep his hair clean and de-poof it, but he might not be interested, because it’s not part of his current aesthetic. Antoni explained that the look he’s going for is “Celebrity walking through the airport in the 90s,” specifically Brad Pitt when he was long-haired Brad Pitt. That’s a good look. But if he wants to fully commit to 1990s Brad Pitt, then he might want to get creative. We already know Antoni has tried DIY hair products before. This time, he should think about filling that spritzer bottle with sweat, Sun-In, stale beer, and joints. Actually, I bet if you get close enough on day 9, his hair can provide a pretty close dupe.
