It’s been a while since Miley Cyrus served up a short stack of unlimited pancakes. After she desperately dumped dirt onto Hannah Montana’s grave by pressing her butt cheeks against Robin Thicke on stage at the MTV VMAs, she twerked everywhere. But then Miley turned into a gee-tar pluckin’ country hippie and she retired her butt. Well, hip-hop Miley is back, which means so is her innate desire to twerk again.

Miley dropping it low kind of looks like someone dropping a handful of plastic cutlery at a picnic and watching it scatter everywhere. Miley also jumped on the “Hot Girl Summer” meme bandwagon by tagging Hot Girl Summer creator, rapper Megan Thee Stallion. To be fair, Miley never specifically says she’s twerking – that’s just what we assume she’s doing. Maybe she really is having a hot girl summer. Because Miley writhing around on the ground and trying to pop her ass in the air looks a lot like someone who is sneakily trying to scratch an itch caused by wearing your still-damp bikini for too long after visiting the public swimming pool.
