Open Post: Hosted By The Worst Prison Escape Ever

February 9, 2019 / Posted by:

Meet 28-year-old Blaze Ayers, who may  or may not be related the Canadian Stunt Criminal of 2018. He’s the enterprising inmate you see dangling out of a hole in the jail ceiling in the photo above and the video after the cut. According to WLKY, the Jackson County, Indiana prison inmate thought he could jailbreak himself out through the jail’s ceiling on Feb 4. Unlike every dumb movie ever – NOPE. Drop tile ceilings aren’t going to support your weight, Blaze! (And that goes for you too, Hollywood, you fakers.) They’re just going to deposit your ass in front of the cops you’re trying to escape!

Blaze Ayers reportedly locked himself in the jail’s infirmary to put his daring plan into action.

“He climbed up on top of the counter top, on top of the cabinets, and then through the ceiling tiles,” said Chris Everhart, Jackson County Jail Commander. “The officers were following the damage of the ceiling, and they heard the ceiling tiles falling and they saw, I think, a leg fall through.”

Blaze didn’t go out in a blaze of glory, as he was quickly recaptured. In addition to the ceiling, and some electrical wiring, he also effed himself up. He was in prison on a failure to appear in court on a misdemeanor charge but, according to the cops, he’ll get some time added on for the escape attempt which is a “level five felony.”

This goes to show you that if you don’t want to serve your time, get someone else to plan your escape for you if you’re a dummy.
