Open Post: Hosted By This Alligator Not Having It
Reptiles are the most terrifying of creatures, and alligators top that list. They’re basically killing machines who can exist on land and in water. Do you know they can run 20 miles an hour? Did you know that they snap their jaws shut on your limbs or head with 3,700 lbs per square inch of bite force? Did you know that they can CLIMB TREES? Did you know that my mom lives half the year in a section of Florida where you’ll be on your morning walk through the condo complex, just chatting with your girlfriends and an alligator can RUN OUT OF SOME TALL GRASS to say hi to you? She’s alive, thankfully.
Anyway, gators = death. So it’s baffling to me that the dude in this video from NBC 4 (via Mashable) thought it was a good idea to taunt one. Sure, the alligator was all tied up and helpless and Jethro here obviously thought he was home-free in slapping Mr. Gator’s mug all around. WRONG. He got headbutted by that gator’s toothy beak! And knocked the eff out! Lesson learned, Mr. Animal Control Jokester? I thought so.
An alligator roaming through a central Florida neighborhood head-butted a trapper, knocking him out cold in a last-ditch effort to escape. https://t.co/ZkGU5QYwaF pic.twitter.com/YzZNP26iug
