Tim McGraw Collapsed On Stage In Ireland
You’re doing a trip to Ireland the wrong way if you don’t collapse like a drunk skunk at least three times, but it sounds like Tim McGraw wasn’t even imbibing on Guinness when he took a tumble on stage at a recent performance in Dublin. The scary happening went down the last night of his and wifey Faith Hill’s co-headlining turn on the Country to Country festival, and it was Faith’s heavy hand that kept Tim from returning to the stage after his spill.
The BBC reports that Tim had finished singing “Humble And Kind” when he initially plopped down next to his keyboardist. Then, he slumped to his knees as he went to walk off stage. I guess the concert stopped for about 20 minutes before Faith glided back onto the stage to inform everyone the only way people would be jigging to Tim for the rest of the night would be via Spotify:
“He’s been super dehydrated. I apologize, but I made the decision that he cannot come back out on stage.”

On the one hand, we could just say Tim is a quiet train wreck and on the verge of collapse (and I’m sure several tabloids will do just that!), but considering I live in Ireland West (aka Boston), I know all too well how much salt goes into corned beef and cabbage. You skip one glass of H2O during that meal, and you’re bloated like a puffer fish and ready to collapse on the nearest couch. One audience member says Tim’s tumble was spooky because it took a while for people to realize it wasn’t just some act:
“I thought he was taking in the applause while sitting down after singing Humble and Kind. But when a spotlight was switched on him, he was slumped on his knees on the left hand side of the stage. The light was quickly turned off and you could see his crew helping him off – and the band ran over as well.”
Americans don’t seem to have the luck of the Irish when they perform across the pond in Ireland or the U.K. Madonna barrel-rolled down the stairs at the BRITs a few years back, and now Tim had his turn. But let’s give credit where credit is due: Queen Faith’s calm demeanor! She is said to have led the arena in an a capella rendition of “What A Friend We Have In Jesus,” which is a far cry from when all she wanted to sing was “Revenge Of A Middle-Aged Woman” when that woman grabbed Tim’s balls at a concert ten years ago!
