I should say “ALLEGED” Stowaway Chihuahua, because something in the milk ain’t clean about this story.
On the TSA’s Instagram page (yes, they have an Instagram page), they posted this picture of a sneaky Chihuahua and the suitcase the dog allegedly snuck into when its human wasn’t looking. The TSA says that after a checked bag set off an alarm, an agent opened the bag and found a stowaway Chihuahua in it. Luckily, they found the dog before the suitcase ended up on the plane. They tracked down the human and she claimed her dog friend must’ve hid in her suitcase while she was packing. Uh huh…
Ay, #Chihuahua! It’s always important to double check your bags before traveling, especially to make sure your Chihuahua hasn’t stowed away inside one of them. That’s exactly what happened this week at #NewYork’s #LaGuardia (#LGA) Airport. While resolving a checked baggage alarm, an officer was shocked when he found a dog in the bag! Apparently, the dog climbed in while its owner was packing her suitcase. TSA worked with the airline to identify the owner, and the two were happily reunited.
The lady’s husband went to the airport and took the Stowaway Chihuahua home.
I don’t know…
I mean, when I go anywhere, I stuff my suitcase full of so much crap that a baby mouse couldn’t sneak in without me finding out. And maybe the Stowaway Chihuahua isn’t as much of a loud mouth yapper as my Chihuahua is, but my dog lets out a high-pitched screeching bark whenever I pick up my keys. So if I was leaving the house and my ear drums weren’t being stabbed by his wails, I’d know something was up. Also, doesn’t everyone dramatically hug their dog while singing “I Will Remember You” before they go on a trip” Or is that just me?
Maybe that human is telling the 100% truth. That dog is kind of making a shifty “Bitch thought she could leave without me” face.
