Open Post: Hosted By The Mash-Up Of “Shake It Off” And The 1988 Crystal Light Aerobics Video

In case this hasn’t already been plastered on all of your timelines, feeds and walls, here’s what happened when YouTuber Thomas Jung mashed together that rejected Jackson 5 song called “Shake It Off” and the legendary, pucker-inducing 1988 Crystal Light Aerobic Championship opening number. Thomas Jung is a hero and saint, because he actually found a really good use for that song besides ear torture. Thomas used the 1988 intro instead of the intro from 1989, which is Taylor Swift’s born year and the name of her album, and probably because the Spandex-swathed bulge game in 1989 just wasn’t as legendary as it was in 1988.

Now I  know that the easiest way to get me to love a Taylor Swift video is to throw in hot Spandex onesies, ankle-suffocating tube socks, AquaNet encrusted teased bangs and briefs cut up to the heavens.

And if you’re a purist who enjoys your hot 80s aerobic moves SANS Swifty, here’s the original with a cameo from Alan Thicke who really made pussies pop during the show by performing this.
