Matt Lauer Has Been Sending Unsolicited Show Notes To “Today”

In my experience, when one is shitcanned from their job, they get shut the fuck down immediately. They take over your email account and change all the passwords, they make you turn in your keys, you clean out your desk, get escorted out of the building, nobody makes eye contact with you when you “pop in” to say hi and then you get served a restraining order while you’re in your jammies. Not so for Matt Lauer!

Somebody over at NBC forgot to add his home email address to the spam list because Page Six is reporting that he’s been sitting on his couch and sending notes to Today telling them what they are doing wrong.

We’re told the disgraced “Today” show host has been firing off notes to producers from his sofa giving unsolicited feedback on the latest episodes.

Sources say Lauer — who was swiftly canned in November after being accused of inappropriate sexual conduct — recently sent a producer an email saying that he felt they had used the wrong music to kick off a segment.

Matt was supposed to be taking this time to work on his marriage but he clearly sucks at that. Why sit around bossing around one woman to her face when you can remotely boss around an entire network television program.

Sources say Lauer’s missives have not been warmly received by “Today” staff.

It’s not really surprising that Matt is still trying to do the most. When has Matt ever heard a “no” and was like “I guess that’s it then”. Never. Matt obviously has way too much time on his hands and shows no shame, remorse or responsibility for his predicament. And that’s because his “predicament” is he’s still rich as fuck and his punishment was to play golf in the Hamptons and spend time with his family. Oh the horror! Actually, playing golf and hanging out with Matt’s family would be a terrible punishment for me, but for Matt it’s a lucky break and better than prison.
