Kanye West Doesn’t Hate Kid Cudi Anymore

When Kid Cudi called out Kanye West and Drake last week on Twitter for maybe passing their lyric-writing duties off on other people, I prepared for a months-long tornado powered by Kanye’s anger. After all, if he and Taylor Swift were willing to start a war over something as petty as song lyrics, who knew what mess would be born from alleging that those lyrics came from someone else’s brain? Both Kanye and Drake scratched back at Kid Cudi a bit, but it appears that’s about as far as their fight is going to go, at least for Kanye.

E! News says that Kanye attempted to kiss and make up with Kid Cudi last night during a stop in Houston, TX on his Saint Pablo tour. Kanye told the audience that Kid Cudi is the most influential artist of the past 10 years. Kanye using the word “most” to describe someone other than himself? Someone must have accidentally slipped some crushed-up humble pills into his food. He also called Kid Cudi his “brother” and said he hopes he’s “doing well.

As for how Kid Cudi feels, that’s not known yet. He’s probably not running into Kanye’s brotherly arms to hug it out. Kid Cudi hasn’t yet responded to Kanye’s nice words from last night’s show. Those tweets about Kanye and Drake using ghostwriters are also still there.

I don’t know if it’s physically possible for Kanye’s ego-jacked brain cells to form an apology, so I think what he said last night is as close as he’s able to get to the words “I’m sorry.” But that’s still not going to be enough for Kid Cudi to bury the hatchet. Kid Cudi is clearly waiting for Kanye to publicly take back what he said about wearing skinny jeans first. “Do you honestly think you were squeezing your nuts into too-tight jeans before me? How dare you!
