Behold, Rojo Junior!
So that's why it's almost like summer in NYC. It's isn't from global warming (it's totally from global warming)! It's because the apparent heir to the American ginger throne, 1-year-old Max Ellington Nixon-Marinoni (Prince MEN-M) is heating up the sidewalks with the curly halo of flames on his head. No, Cynthia Nixon's hair didn't burn off from being that close to Max's short fro of sparks. Cynthia shaved it all off to do Wit on Broadway.
The rapture has been re-scheduled for a later date, because the world can't end now that a miniature Rojo is here. Prince Max saved us all!!! (See also: ginger babies are the best.)

I don't think Max Ellington Nixon-Marinoni is the adorable variety of ginger, but his chub is irresistible. I LOOOOOVE fat babies. LOVE THEM. Even if they're not that cute in the face. Skinny babies repulse me.

Boston, I'm going to agree with you in part. I personally think children should have a male AND female in their lives, growing up. If it's not a biological father, it could be a male father figure who can fill that role for the child. It could be a grandfather or uncle or close family friend who will be there for the whole childhood.
Imagine the uproar if we said "children don't NEED a mother"! Why would it be right to say that about fathers?
I'm not taking anything away from single parents of any gender or gay patents. AT ALL. But kids need role models of both genders, IMO. And I know single moms who spend a lot of time worrying about that so it really does matter and we all know it.
It has got to be really terrible not having a Dad. Of course they will tell you it's fine. People breed like rats and are very selfish.
No one is going to tease Max about having gay parents. It's no big deal here. He's way more likely to be teased for having curly red hair.
And if he comes from a loving, supportive home he will be able to deal with it.
ETA: I knew quite a few city kids who had gay parents when I was a teenager and it wasn't an issue. Or maybe it was an issue for them internally (the ones I'm still in touch with are all happy and normal adults) but they weren't teased about it by the other kids.
Boy needs a Dad. Two Moms no matter how butch they are are not the same. Kids only need love. That's crap. And I'm a liberal.

Same size head already. My nephew was a big kid who grew into a VERY big adult not fat but just big boned and tall. He always wanted to be carried around too and his mother really struggled with trying.
Zestyfuzz-how freaking pathetic are you? He has 2 loving parents and beautiful hair. Those of us who love our kids and are raising them in nurturing environments don't teach them that it is okay to pick on others.
