Amanda Bynes Has Reportedly Checked Back Into Treatment After Relapsing

March 1, 2019 / Posted by:

It was only four months ago that Amanda Bynes was looking Photoshop fresh on the cover of Paper magazine where she talked about being four years sober and admitted that a mixture of her mental health issues and using the bad shit caused her to spiral into a dog-burning bad wig meltdown. Amanda’s parents helped pull her out of that bad place, and she got help, stepped out of Hollywood, and went to fashion school. Amanda’s Paper cover was supposed to be her return to the spotlight and she said she wanted to get back into the acting game, but TMZ claims it was too much, too soon, and so she’s gone back into treatment to get more help.

Sources claim that after the Paper story came out, Amanda began auditioning again, and the pressures of auditioning on top of the pressures of being “back” got to her. Amanda has been in a treatment facility since January and is being treated for drug addiction and mental health issues. TMZ’s sources say that Amanda started to slide back into that dark-sided place a few months before January.

Another source told Us Weekly that Amanda is doing good in treatment:

“[Amanda] is responding very well to treatment and her team remains extremely optimistic about her future. She is moving forward and aware that getting help will only benefit her.”

It’s a good thing that Amanda and the people around her realized that she’s not quite ready to get back into it. I can only imagine what it’s like for her to swim with those sharks again by auditioning. And I say that as someone with experience, because I have auditioned before. Yes, it was for Barbizon School of Modeling. And yes, I got in. And yes, I got in because my mom’s check cleared, but you know what I’m trying to say! Shut up!
