Ariana Grande’s Fans Are Boycotting Her Song “7 Rings” And She’s Okay With It

Ariana Grande‘s fans are a very loyal bunch because they know she’s crazy and so are they. Recently Ariana released her latest album Thank U, Next with that annoying Sound of Music rip-off song 7 Rings leading the way to #1 HITS glory. However, her fanbase known as the Arianators (shoot me now please) are tired of supporting it and are ready for a different song to crawl into our ears and drive us all crazy. So they have created the hashtag #BOYCOTT7RINGS in order to push another one of Ari’s songs to the top spot. And Ari is pleased that her minions care so much.

People reports that the Arianators believe 7 Rings is soooo yesterday and the new belle of the ball is the single breakup with your girlfriend, i’m bored. For research purposes I watched the video and that shit is amazing. And by amazing I mean I can’t believe Ariana fit so many dated concepts into one damn video: side piece whorishness, Single White Female-inspired stalker antics, and a blond wig from Dollar Tree. It’s a feast for the eyes right before you gouge them out with a plastic spoon. In other words, it’s the definition of HITS and Ariana’s fans know everything about tasteful music. So, the #BOYCOTT7RINGS hashtag is going to be a huge success, even though Ariana herself seems a bit confused by all of this hype.

After the trend caught Grande’s attention, the 25-year-old pop star shared her thoughts on the “funny” situation.

“y’all are so insane and funny and i love u. nothings funnier than ‘boycott seven rings’….. i can’t lmao.” she tweeted, before reassuring them, “whatever’s meant to be will be, babies i ain’t goin nowhere #thankunext”

Now, you’re probably thinking this is sort of a cute way to push another one of Ari’s songs towards number one but let me assure you there’s nothing cute about their mission. Because these mu’fuckas are insane and there are tons of tweets to prove that theory.

And of course Ariana is loving this shit because anything that brings her attention and cash in a win/win. She cosigned this fuckery by responding to a few tweets, but I believe this one sums everything up quite nicely.

Ariana, none of this is Ok. And I hope once they’ve made your next song #1 they’ll all get the help they need by breaking up with Twitter and finding a psychiatrist.
