Your Face Sounds Familiar is a popular singing contest show in the Philippines wherein children dress up as pop stars and perform their songs. Here’s the TNT Boys performing Ariana, Nicki and Jessie J’s “Bang Bang.” This is the show that gave you the terrifying mini-Bee Gees from a while back (and thanks for those nightmares, YFSF). They’ve totally redeemed themselves with these kids. Sure, they initially give off a bit of a drag version of Jon Benet Ramsey–vibe and you worry for their safety but that’s just temporary. Just wait until Junior Jessie J shimmies his leopard unitard-ed self down to work the crowd.
As if there was ever a doubt, LGBTQ Nation reports that the TNT Boys won and “received a million Philippine Pesos (about $19,000), a house, and a trophy.” A HOUSE!
If Ariana Grande, Nicki Minaj and the other one had any business sense, they’d re-release “Bang Bang” and let The TNT Boys shoot the video. That is if the TNTers would even deign to appear. They’ve probably already got a million projects in the works by now.
