50 Cent Claims Trump Offered Him $500,000 For A Campaign Appearance

What do we have here, two idiots who are terrible with money. But in this story, the main idiot is Donald Trump, who threw $500,000 at 50 Cent just to show up during his Presidential campaign. At least according to 50 Cent, that’s something he did.

50 Cent talked about the offer earlier this week during an appearance on Hot 97’s The Breakfast Club (via The Fader). 50 and The Breakfast Club crew were discussing whether Trump is playing the part of a bad guy or if he’s legitimately got a heart made of compressed garbage. At one point it’s mentioned that Trump only cares if people don’t want to be friends with him. That’s when 50 told the story of when Trump tried to pay him to pretend to be his friend.

50 says he was approached by Team Trump during the 2016 election and was offered a $500,000 appearance fee. 50 says he thinks he was only approached in a shameless attempt for Trump to appeal to African American voters. Half a million dollars could pay off at least one, maybe two of 50 Cent’s dozens of creditors, but 50 Cent wasn’t interested in Trump’s sad friendship version of Indecent Proposal.

“I was like, Nah, that’s not good money. I’m not gonna do that. That’s not worth it.”

Not worth it, eh?  That picture of 50 Cent and Trump was posted to Facebook on March 6, 2016. That’s the same evening Trump appeared at a Republican Party Presidential debate in Detroit, Michigan. It’s not known if that picture is an old picture that 50 posted during the debate, or if it was taken at some post-debate event. But 50 Cent captioned the picture: “Me and My President maybe, only in America.

So either 50 Cent is lying about turning down half a million dirty dollars, or worse – he kissed Trump’s ass for free. Oh, 50. The next time you throw your dignity away, at least get some cash out of it.
