Tupac Wrote In A Prison Letter That He Broke Up With Madonna Because She’s White

Two years after Madonna dropped her cooze on legendary rapper Vanilla Ice, she dropped her cooze on another legendary rapper, Tupac. (May the ghost of Tupac slap me in the mouth with all of his rings on for comparing him to Vanilla Ice.) The year was 1994, so this was before blogs existed and so they never got an annoying couple name like TuMad or Tunna. Tupac and Madge didn’t last that long. She moved on to her daughter’s dad, Carlos Leon, and he was murdered in 1996.

TMZ got a hold of a letter that Tupac wrote to Madge from prison on January 15, 1995 at 4:30am. Yes, Tupac was one of those types who gets all sensitive in the morning. The letter is going up for auction later this month and the starting bid is $100,000. TMZ posted a copy of the censored letter, and in it, he wrote about how she hurt him with her words and how he once felt that he’d let down the people who made “Tupac” if he continued to date a white woman like her.

Tupac started the letter by apologizing to Madge for not being a good friend and then he explained why he dumped her:

“For you to be seen with a black man wouldn’t in any way jeopardize your career. If anything it would make you seem that much more open & exciting. But for me at least in my previous perception I felt due to my ‘image’ I would be letting down half of the people who made me what I thought I was. I never meant to hurt you.”

He also pointed out an interview where she said that she’s going to “rehabilitate” all rappers and basketball players. I guess Madge thought that her pussy was a regular Mother Theresa back then. Tupac told her that her words were like a shank to the soul.

“Those words cut me deep seeing how I had never known you to be with any rappers besides myself. It was at this moment out of hurt & a natural instinct to strike back and defend my heart & ego that I said a lot of things,”

Tupac added that he had grown mentally and spiritually and no longer gave one fuck about how he’s perceived by anyone. Tupac explained to Madge that when he was with her, he was a young man  “with limited experience with a extremely famous sex symbol.”

He ended the letter by saying that he wants to stay friends with her and that if she could “find it in her heart,” he’d love it if she visited him in prison.

Before Tupac got with Madge, he beat a rapper with a baseball bat, beat up director Allen Hughes and was accused of gang rape (he was convicted of sexual abuse), but dating Madge was a stain on his reputation in his eyes? I mean, I know that Madge’s eyebrow situation was a real struggle back then (see: above), but damn!
