Katt Williams Gets 5 Years Probation

For the past couple of years, Katt Williams has been living his life like it’s a sequel to Groundhog Day written by the makers of Grand Theft Auto. Every morning he woke up and got into another illegal shenanigan. It just kept happening over and over and over again. TMZ reports that a judge in Georgia has finally tried to put Katt on a temporary five-year fuckup hiatus by sentencing him to five years probation. “Good morning daddy, time to check in with your probation officer” is the new “Good morning daddy, time for some cereal.

Back in March, Katt Williams was arrested in Atlanta after he allegedly commanded his bodyguard Corey Dixon to commit unspecified crimes. When Corey refused, Katt allegedly threatened to kill him. Katt’s minion also reportedly choked and beat Corey while he watched. The next day, the police searched the petite Suge Knight’s house and found weed and guns. Katt was hit with a bunch of charges, which included aggravated assault and possession of drugs and weapons.

Katt pleaded no contest to assault charges in a Georgia court last Thursday, which resulted in a judge giving him five years probation. Katt also has to turn over the guns the police found in his home, pay several thousand dollars in fines, and stay away from Corey Dixon. Katt’s probation includes evaluations for anger management, substance abuse, and impulse control.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution has a few more details. They say Katt Williams is banned from two Georgia counties, Hall and Dawson county. I don’t know if that’s a good thing or a bad thing for Katt. The citizens of Hall and Dawson county are surely breathing a sigh of relief. Katt also has to perform 100 community service hours and pay $7500 to Corey Dixon. I’d be on high alert if I were Corey. I know the judge said Katt isn’t allowed anywhere near Corey, but as if that’s going to stop Katt from getting vengeance. Katt’s probably at home rolling himself up in that stack of dollars destined for Corey’s wallet with the master plan of popping out and beating Corey himself.
