BeeBee, the hyper-filled fluff ball who was born without any shoulder blades, but isn't letting that stop her from running around the world like her back paws are on fire (Note to Alicia Keys: Please release a song called "This Chihuahua's On Fire." Thank you.) and she's got speed running through her veins.
Since BeeBee's got no shoulders, she needs extra care and attention, so her owner Denise, who works at a nursing home, asked her boss if she could bring her in every day. Only an evil monster with the heart of a Kardashian would say no to a long-haired chi-hooh-ah-hooh-ah with no shoulder blades and Denise's boss isn't one of those, so BeeBee was allowed to come to the nursing home every day. BeeBee instantly became the nursing home mascot and made everyone barf out a flood of squeeees.
One day, someone who works with Denise at the nursing home said that her son is a student at Bollman Tech in Thornton, CO and could possibly help BeeBee. The son and some of his fellow students helped BeeBee by making her a wheelchair complete with a pink flag and now her ass is even faster than before. Bitches better jump out of BeeBee's path or she will run over them over.
No, BeeBee can't do the Whitney Houston shoulder bounce, but she won't care about that when she wins the gold medal in chihuahua wheelchair racing at the 2016 Olympics!

You'll be in bed already JTROS but wanted to say, excellent news that you can skip chemo and radiation. It's always a danger that pain meds could be addictive, if that is a big worry, please make sure you mention that concern to your doctor. JTROS, be well! And hugs to your puppy too. Night.

Love Miss BeeBee! Special needs dogs are the house specialty at the Chihuahua Ranch. We currently have a one-eyed chihuahua, a blind Min Pin, a long-haired chi who used to have seizures (stopped when he was neutered), a toothless wonder chi and two mixes who are just plain crazy.

I know it's sad, heart wrenching, but she's doing well given her condition and is well loved and cared for.
the links are better though, and tell her story. and the two last links are other pups.
I had to edit out the part that said she has a severe heart condition (she does not apparently), so there's no confusion. but she'll need medical care all her life, but she's happy. Wishing her a long life and beating the odds. and for more people to open their hearts to in needs pets. Especially, good for retired people or working from home. Rosie is extra special, however.
In the before last link with Gropo and Gogo, the second video you can see her with the other pups the woman adopted. It's cute. :)

Hi Foxxy!
I'm home now after a terrible 6+ hour car ride with insane last minute holiday shopping traffic. Ended up getting so motion sick that my poor hubs had to rub my back as I barfed into a plastic Kroger bag. :(. But, we made it home, I didn't pop any stitches & puppy JTROS is being her usual bratty self. All is right in the world.
I'm off to bed - my brain is maxed out on listening to football (both radio & TV). Still can't believe ATL is so good this year...because, they're not! Just saw Johnson break Rice's record, so that was interesting. Yawn.
Also, doc said no chemo or radiation (hooray!) at this time, but the type of tumor I had is usually found in 50-60 year old men so it's generally recommended. Of course, since I'm an early 30-something lady (ha!) I get a pass on all that jazz.
I'm taking all of my meds & tapering the stereoids and Oxy, but have no idea when this damn headache will become manageable without me becoming addicted to pain meds. That's my big fear right now since I generally don't take ANY pain meds.
Off to bed!

Surgery went well. I have a big ol hole in my brain, but I don't think they took too much of the good stuff :). Arrived home this evening & it feels great to be convalescing (sp?) at home versus a hotel.

This is dedicated to Rosie and all the animal rescue groups, celebrities, vets, orginzations that rescue and try to save abused animals. In this case It's about Rosie. A little chihuahua rescued from a hoarder/backyard breeder situation along with many others. With the help of humane socities, rescuers, authorities and finally a wonderful mom who adopted her she was saved but faces surgeries and ill health. You may have seen on the internet. People couldn't tell if she was a pig, fog or a photoshopped animal BUT Rosie is REAL and the result of poor breeding. She may look strange but has won the hearts across the world in her struggle to survive.

Rosie is beating the odds although she will never walk or be normal she is important to spread the news about poor breeding for greed and breeders who have no idea what they are doing but the animal pays the price. I love special needs pets, be it an amputated leg, blind, deaf or other handicap, nothing stops them. They act like it's natural and live to the best of their abilities. We can feel sorry for them, but they don't feel sorry for themselves. The only thing is that they really need extra round the clock care. But they're truly a blessing.
