Great comedic actress who took the stereotypical "ditzy blonde" trope and transformed it into something more (see also Candy Clark, Candice Azzara). Glad she's getting some overdue praise as "HSOTD".
OMG, can't believe she's the featured HSOTD! I was mildly obsessed with her as a drooling kid watching her on Carson and various other tv shows. Then later in life when working in Hollywood I actually bumped into her in a Borders bookstore! She saw the stunned look on my face and smiled and said hello. Not exactly meeting Bea Arthur or anything, but to me she was a superstar ingrained in my pre-pubescent memory. Nice one, MK!

I don't remember her on the Tonight Show, but I remember Carol Wayne. Sadly Wiki says she died mysteriously in Mexico in 1985 and it sort of reads like whoever did it got away with it.
